its good stuff so i wouldnt worry too much, but There will always be better out there. So unless you want to pay out the ass for that better sound i wouldnt worry about it. If this is going in the S its really a lost cause anyways.

Ive compared 4 gauge wire from rockford fosgate compared to other brands and even though its the same thickness the outer plastic coating on the fosgate is thinner and has more power wire inside compared to others that have thick plastic and thin wire. So fosgate is pretty good. I like stinger wiring as well..
