Ok so lets start over...
Hi Y'all. My name is Chuck, and I live in central Georgia. My MY00 S2000 isn't quite stock; Eibach Pro Kit, AxialFlow Engineering Short-shifter, Comptech SC/AC, Aurora ICPC with 8" touch screen, some bling lighting for the HIN Shows, and some more stuff I can't recall right now.
I'm mostly a lurker, but this is a cool thread, so I wanted to join in. XViper, I'm with you! Until recently I was moderating a motorsports related forum on another site. After a while it just got to be too much, so I passed the job on to someone else. S2kI is the most useful site I know of, and we owe the success of the site to you and all the other moderators. All I can say is that if any of you get a little testy at times, I fully understand.
I'm a retired Aerospace Engineer, and inventor of the EPCB stator (patent pending, being marketed by Innersound). At one time I was involved in the design of "high-end" loudspeakers and electronics, but when it comes to car audio I'm a newbee. I don't consider myself to be an "audiophile" but I have to admit that our home audio system is worth more than all our automobiles put together. I have limited experience in subwoofer design, ribbon tweeter design, ESL design, and acoustical test and measurement, all involving home audio rather than car audio.
I like almost all music (*almost*), and prefer TL or bass-reflex combined with large ESL panels, usually tri-amped. For my tastes a good (large) servo-sub is hard to beat.
I'm here so you guys can teach me enough about car audio so that I can get my S2000 the way I want it.

OK, I have to ask... what happened to my post? I KNOW it was actually posted as I saw it appear (right around modifry's post), but now it's gone. So it didn't exactly tout the "wonders" we all know as s2ki, but my posts are starting to disappear at an alarming rate
