shouldn't be a problem if you keep the top up then

btw You already have a screen a kickass screen
What is this "top up" you speak of?

Yes, I have a screen and I CAN see it in bright but I was just pointing out that one may be a bit of a challenge. I wouldn't buy it unless it came with a money back guarantee in case it is problematic in the vertible

HUGE difference between a couple of store spotlights and a burning mass of gas in the sky!

ive had this unit for about a week now, since i am rewiring my system, i have no sound, wouldnt matter anyway since i am not using the JVC processing. my first impression are pretty good build quality, nice picture, pretty easy to use, except a few things.

Is it worth the retail price, no! Is it worth dealer cost, Yes! honestly, there is no point in having this unit but the bling factor. Youre probably asking me my did i get this unit then, well, it was not my original intent to get this unit, i actually ordered the KD-ADV6160, but since i have a competition coming up this sunday, i need what i can get with optical output.

So, i guess if build quality, having a tv but no space and bling factor is what youre looking to get, this is the unit for you.

I am thinking to go for this unit also.

Meth, did you try to install yet? Did the faceplate fit inside the cover?

MR ASDF, do you have any more comments? Any pictures?

I thought about KD-ADV6160 also. (I don't care for the LCD. I just want Giga MP3.) But, the knob in 6160 is not retractable like other JVC units. I didn't think I can close the radio cover with 6160. Are you going to modify the cover for this?
