Front speakers: Genesis Absolute 2.3 Components system or Morel SR-8.3 system but using the Triumph tweeter. The brax are great as are the Rainbows
Rear speakers..... eeer NO
Amps: Genesis Dual Mono Extreme for the comps and a pair of Genesis Monoblock's, Or the Tru Tube or the USA Amps tube (cheaper sound better but dont look so trick) Still use a the Monoblock for Sub Bass though.
Subwoofers: JL W7 or RE XXX or IDmax IDQ if space is an issue then Phase Linear ALIANTE 12Si
Cap:...!! Von Dutch.. LOL

Honestly, I built my perfect system. "Quality over price". C'mon, sometimes more money, even more quality, makes no difference. Especially, once you put the top down. Over 5mph, forget about noticing a $500 increase in price over a great amp.

Front Speakers: MB Quart QSD 216
Rear Speakers: MB Quart QSD 216 (although, I have no rears)
Sub AMP: Soundstream TR 700/2 (fills the entire tool well! )
Subwoofer: 2 8" Elemental Design e8a'a
Speaker Amp: Precision 2125. 2x125 RMS with acres of headroom
Cap: Not needed in this car with an upgraded battery

I'm trying desperately to find a camera. I loaned mine to my parents while they're in Spain at a conference. I'll post a full writeup when I can post pics. My system in one word: perfect*.

* for me, at least. The e8as work splendidly with the MB Quart QSD216s. I used to hate them. Now, I wouldn't even consider Focals! ... And no rattles with 2-block-radius, very high SQ bass and a trunk that still holds a week and half of groceries for two. I'm pleased as punch.

head unit... alpine 9813, or 9835 head units... (not bad for the prices)
front speakers... go with infinity kappa perfect 6.1's.. they fit perfect for our application.. some cutting required to the speaker baskets...
rear speakers same... if ur willing to do the custom work... or buy the lucid rear's
subs... alpine typex... new subwoofer 1000 watts.. rms.. nutts.. carbon fiber look as well... to match all ur carbon fiber accesories in ur car...
definatly build a custom box for the rear subs.. and go with alpine 12v amplifiers.. give u clear sound at an affordable price....
