Default Options on where i should put my valentine one and diffferent ways to install

Finally!!

My Valentine 1 has arrived. I'm not too good with electrical stuff and am afraid of messing things up. I was wondering if anyone had pics or different suggestions on the Valentine 1 installation or positioning of the unit.

Thanx all!!!!

Well, I haven't got mine yet (probably will order it in the next couple weeks), but I have been reading up on possible mounting locations.

First off I would start in the library: https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/34/1/51/
Also there are several good threads on the board:

James has install instructions for between the seats here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=18740
Here is Rick's latest stealth install: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=67349
A very cool install that will cost you a little $: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=66179

Most folks seem to install the radar itself with the winshield mount either right under or just to the right of the rearview mirror. Best of luck.

I highly recommend the hardwire install: https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/34/1/51/

It's easy to do and a huge improvement over using the lame power socket/coiled cord.
