Orange light behind mute button not lit
I've noticed that when I have my daytime running lights or headlights on, the mute button is not illuminated orange like all the other buttons. So you can't see the button, but the green light does come on when I engage mute.
Does anyone know if this is a bulb or fuse? If a bulb, how easy is it to replace?
Thanks!

it's a L.E.D. that's out , or a line of them. Someone on here , can't remeber who but they did a swap from the amber color to blue.. that'll show you where the LEDs are and how to do it... search for like blue gauge cluster or something like that....

If its just mute then its probably a bulb. It is fairly easy to do but you have to remove the gauge cluster.
1. Remove 3 screws from the kick plate underneath the steering wheel (right where your knee would be)
2. Remove the 2 taps and screws from the top of the gauge cluster (they are covered with little caps)
3. Lower the steering column by screwing the 2 nuts from where you removed the kick plate and 2 nuts from the bracket holding the column on top of the vent. Follow the steering column you'll know what I'm talking about.
4. With the steering column lowered you'll be able to wiggle the black trim piece out.
5. Behind the mute button theres a bulb. Replace that.
6. Put everything back together.
That's from memory when I changed my bulbs to blue LEDs so if you have a question post again and I'll remember better.
