kix - you did do all this without actually speaking with John. I am sure he would have issued you a full refund had you gotten ahold of him. I realize that he is not the easiest man to get ahold of, but I did, so you can too. You jumped to conclusions when he did not respond to your emails/PM's. There were other courses of action to take, and you took the immediate one.

Contact the mods, and they will contact him for you. I did call him, but I believe he called me back because someone (PAS2kNUT) contacted him on my behalf after I informed him of my situation. He is one of the mods for this forum. I also let NFRs2000NYC try to get in touch with him for me as well.

There are other ways to contact him other than directly.

I will call him tomorrow and see if I can give you his number. PM me your contact information (phone number, name, handle, etc.) and I will pass it along.
