What amp you thinking about mounting? I have a big Zappco 1100.1 mounted to mine, and I've done systems that have two large JL amps that are heavy with no problem. The width of the amp is more the issue.

That looks great! How much PAS2K? Looks like this may be my 2nd buy from you. If you don't remember, I bought your OEM shift knob YEARS ago.
Also, exactly what holes would need to be drilled if I wanted a rack that allowed me to retain my spare?

You would need to drill two holes across the top to mount the board if you only did a half rack.

How do you keep the rack from sliding out from the bottom? I mean to say, it's held in place from the top, what keeps the bottom in place?

My cover is also secured only by the trunk springs and this little hump below.
