Default Passenger door speaker problem..

Hello

The passenger door stock speaker would be working fine for 20 minutes, and then it would stop while driving. The next day.. the speaker wouldn't be working, but then 10 minutes into the drive.. it would start working fine. And this has been happening for the last few weeks.

So I've had it with listening to one speaker. BTW, I have a MY2000. I'm planning to take apart the door panel and see for myself if I can do anything.

Am I correct in assuming the speaker is not blown since it still works fine?

Is this problem common? If so is there anybody that can lead me into finding a fix for this.

Thanks everyone.

I'd suspect the wire is shorting or has a bad / corroded connection.

Sounds like the connector is loose.

You guys don't remember this?

MY2000 had a problem with the radios where the audio would just cut out. it was a problem with the HU itself. Honda did warranty replacements but I don't know if there was a technical bulletin on it or not.

So if that's your problem chances are you'll have to get a new HU. If yuo decide it's a bad HU you can probably find one cheap.
