Default Passenger side window won't work

Hi there, I saw one person posted on this topic last year but didn't post a solution. So I'll try here.

Pass side window got stuck about halfway open - couldn't move it with passenger or driver switch. But when I put the top down, the window came down just like normal, and now is stuck there. No funny noises so it doesn't seem like a mechanical issue. I am guessing the issue should be either the pass side switch, or the control unit switch on the drivers side, but haven't tested either yet.

As a side note, my battery just went dead while sitting in the garage, it was 8 years old so it was time. Replacing today. Coincidence? Or could be short-related somewhere?

Is it possible to pull off the door panel without special tools? Or should I get the special door trim part from Honda?

Anyone have any thoughts on this one? Thank you in advance for your help.

It's easy to remove the door panels without special tools. No doubt the web is
full of instructions - here's one set.
Before you open things up though, make sure the passenger window lockout switch
on the driver's side isn't the cause if you haven't already.

Thanks! Yep it was the power window lock that and a new battery and everything's good as new!
