Default Passenger window problem...

Having a bit of a problem I can't figure out..
I was driving home from work today only to discover my passenger window won't roll down! I checked the window lock, but it's not that.

Here's the weird stuff:
The passenger window will SOMETIMES go down when raising/lowering the top, but only when the lock switch is ON. As soon as you switch the lock off, the window raises by itself, without touching anything else. When you switch the lock back on, it stops... when off, it raises again... etc etc.

Sometimes, the passenger side window won't respond at all.

The passenger window switch on the driver's side makes no noise at it did before (a faint click when lower/raising the window)... the passenger side only makes a sound when trying to lower the window.. no sound when trying to raise it.

Before this, I noticed the passenger side window rolls up/down a bit slower than the driver's side... don't know if that's part of the problem, but I thought I'd put it in anyways.

Any ideas? Is the window controls fused separately from the drivers/passenger's side?

Thanks

figured out that it didnt matter if the lock was on or not, it would go down when trying to lower/raise convertible regardless.

nevermind, figured it out

Pulled apart the drivers switch today. The plastic latch that hooks onto the switch board was broken and the switch was constantly trying to roll the window up.

Took apart the switch, glued the latch back on and all is good.

Hope that might help someone.
