I have the phatbox and Xm and I think is the best way to go,
it's easy to upload, and you dont have to look for cd anymore
I would def recommend that

A search for "phatnoise" returns posts that are two and three years old. Those are completely irrelevant to a 2005 s2k. I was posting this in the hopes that someone might have some new information.

Why on Earth would they be irrelevant? It's the same unit, and the car hasn't changed much, except for the addition of tweeters.

Where did you mount the phatbox? How well does it work with the stock stereo?

No they are not. There is an XM radio interface on the bus now and the CD changer pinout has changed.
