I have an ipod and love it. I can use it in ALL of my vehicles and outside of the car too. You can get a 40GB ipod versus 20GB phatboy for 1/2 the price...you could get 3 times the storage (ipod photo 60gb) for less money too. The software on the ipod is terrific and simple to use, offers a itunes music store and you can create smart playlists.

You'd have to mount that big @$$ unit in your trunk and run a longer cable (potentially more interference). It will work as well as the ipod on the stock stereo. All you need is an auxilliary input from

Cost would be $500 for ipod 40GB, cable, charger and additional power outlet in the front of your S2000 versus $800 for the phatboy plus installation.

 

You'll have to forgive me, but I am not an Ipod fruitcake, and have no interest in buying proprietary rechargable batteries, running Itunes software or buying DRM nazi-fied music.....
