Default Phoenix gold speakers

I'm looking for new door speakers and a friend recommended Phoenix Gold ones. Has anyone tried them (do they even make a size that fits?). At work right now so I can't research haha..

Hmm I heard these in person before and they sound decent.

Whats the difference between Polk Audio DB651 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers
and Polk Audio DB651s Slim-Mount 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers ?

http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-6-5-Inch-...67743111&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Slim-Moun...7743148&sr=1-14

I want to avoid modifications to make the speakers fit.

Thanks

I have the RSd 6.5 components in my car and they are pretty nice for the $50 I paid for them. Definitely the best bang for the buck speakers I have ever heard.

It did make a significant difference when I sealed and deadened my doors, so YMMV

Did you need any mounting spacers or did they fit in the stock brackets?
