that is awesome, i might copy your setup down the line, looks like you still have plenty of trunk space! Did you design the sub yourself? what kind of amp do you have?

I thought about doing the custom sub too but I was not able to fit my golf clubs in. If you have items that are about the lenght of a golf club that you bring with you every now and than...reconsider the install.

I have never understood this. If you're going to ditch your spare tire anyway, why not build or buy a better sounding box that goes in the spare tire well? FWIW, my sub is in the exact same place as yours. But I kept my spare...

i ditched the spare because i installed my amp there for the speakers. i dont think the spare tire area is good for a sub anyways

the area is extremely small and you need a decent size box for most subs. also having a sub in that area point straight up will cause alot of rattles because its all plastic covers around that area to the cabin

You must be confusing the spare tire well with the spare tire storage area. The spare tire well is the hollowed out part in the center of your trunk. That is the area I was referring to.
