Line output converter...this is what you 'can' use to hook up rca cables to an amp if you have a factory deck. Basically you tap onto any existing high level output line and the box converts that to the low level rca signal.

If your amp has high level inputs, save your money and use them. Especially if only running a sub(s).

The thing is I have an amp and sub from and old car i just sold. I want to drop the sub and amp into my car using the stock head unit so i did researches on stock headunits and amps.

im not sure what kind of amp i have, im at work right now wont know till i get home, but im pretty sure it runs RCAs so im assuming thats low level?

is it possible that an amp has low level and high level?

Okay, I have a PPI2120 2 channel. What do I have to do exactly to get the amp and sub to work? And which do I plug what into? I don't know much about audio/electronics and such.

looks like u hav high level inputs too. which means that you should be able to plug your factory speaker wiring into the amp, plug in the remote wire, plug in battery + and a ground, and finally plug your speaker into the speaker output. that should work. one thing to remember though is that stock radios dont out out the best quality sound and could be feeding distorsion to your amp and sub.

also remember to set your bass bosst down all the way and set your gains to the appropriate level in order to keep the signal clean,

good luck
