I am really interested in getting these components for my car. Does anybody know if these are a direct fit, or if they need spacers?

Does anybody here run these? They've apparently gotten fantastic reviews.

good question. That and the 1 below it hot decent reviews.
Both are oversized 6 1/2 or 6.75. Im guessing spacers would help

I considered these, and even drove over an hour out to a "local" dealer that had them installed in a competition vehicle to have a listen. I don't know what type of competition they entered this thing in, but they had these components only in the back doors (it was a scion) and everything was calibrated for way too much sub, so I really couldn't get a great audition of them. From what I did hear though, I was worried that I would find the tweeters fatiguing, and as I came across a good deal on a set of NOS a/d/s components, I went with what I had some prior experience with (I had a similar pair of a/d/s in my old integra).

I am still curious about the Pioneers, and how they would sound in the S2000. I could use more mid-bass in cabin, so if you do get to audition or install these, I'd be grateful to hear your review.
