Look at the panel directly to the right of the driver's right knee...it looks like a rounded off triangle.....put it over there.

I already hit my knee on the radio door when its open, wouldn't that just make things worse, or do you mean lower down still from there? Any other placement suggestions?

How do you like the BassLink?.... I considered that when I started putting mine together....

Is there enough drive to get the sound out of the trunk when you're at speed ?

I say take that whole thing apart. The box is hugh compared to the actual circuit board. You can take the whole thing apart and put it almost anywhere. Its not something you'll mess with every 2 seconds but you will mess with it a little. It might just fit next to the HU, in such a way so just the knob sticks out of the HU bezel, so when the door is closed you can't see it and when you open the door its right there. Might take a little work with a Dremel it shouldn't be that big a deal.

I have one for a memphis amp, looks about the same. I took it apart, unsoldered the switch from the board and then soldered the wires of cable directly to the switch tabs. This way I can mount it anywhere by drilling a hole and using a bulkhead nut to hold the switch in. haven't mounted it yet, but it works. There are no othercomponents on the board to worry about.

Not sure how it sounds yet, but if all goes as planned I should by the end of the weekend. I've got a bit of work planned out to get this whole thing setup, but the sub is only part of a larger package including :
  • Clarion ProAudio DXZ945MP head unit
  • Clarion DCZ625 Changer (to be mounted under the driver seat)
  • Polk Audio MOMO Carbon C300.2 amp
  • Polk Audio MOMO Carbon MMC6500 separates
  • Infinity BassLink sub
For power, I am going to be running 1/0 gauge to the trunk then split down to 4 gauge for the amp & sub. Needless to say I have my work cut out for me.

Oh, and if I measured right I'm looking to do a "big 3" wire upgrade using 1/0 as well.
