Post your alpine settings for
I understand that what sounds good to one may not sound good to another and the type of music you listen to greatly influences on how you tune your system. But, I thought it might be helpful if people could post their settings on the alpine headunits. Preferable the units where you can adjust the HTz and Q-factor.
In addition list what type of music you mainly listen to.

Alpine 9851
Main Menu:
Bass: +4 to +5 (depends on music and source)
Treble: +5 to +7 (depends on music and source)
Subwoofer: +9 (I tuned the gain on the sub to the +9 setting so I can raise it a bit a lower volumes and dial it back for high volumes)
Under the "Menu" button:
Bass: Centered at 80HTZ (will sometimes switch to 100HTZ for music variations). Q is set at either 2-3. Once again....depends on bass frequency desired and overall bass load on speakers.
Treble: Centered at 7.5kHTZ. Good for male vocals (rock). Sometimes bump up to 10kHTZ for Dave Matthews Band instrumentals.
