Question about AVN 5435 and Ipod Adapter
So I have the Eclipse AVN 5435 and wanted to know how to get the iPod adapter to work? I also have the serius unit, like it says in the instructions you have to go through (or the cd changer unit) to make it connect right. But the owner has a subscription to serius, and I think it won't let me use the iPod because it's still running serius, correct? So my question is, how do I get rid of the serius so I can just use the iPod?
Thanks in advance!

Actually that is not your issue - we had this come up a few times....
First you need to make sure you setup the DIP switches on the Ipod unit correctly - there is two sets that can be put at A/B right?
If the guy previously had the Sirius you need to disconnect that portion and make sure you have the right bus cable going to the right direction.
Just an FYI but the 5435 and 5495 SUCKS big time with the ipod adapter - you can only listen to the entire Ipod, no playlist or anything else can be selected.....( I know this cuz I have it on my 5495....haha)
You need a AVN-6610 to get the most use out of that Ipod adapter...the 5435/5495 are old skool decks.

All I do is listen to every song on random anyways. And Rick, I'm so confused. I might need you to do it for me
. But I'm going to sell my car in a few months (don't feel like putting up with the cash wasting on it) and I don't want to spend huge bucks. And also.. I don't think I put the dash together right, and it's not fitting properly. So I think I need to summon your help one more time to get it working
