Question for the audio gurus
I have purchased the following items;
Pioneer deh-p880prs Headunit
Box with Alphasonik 800 series sub and Alphasonik PMZ1600DA Mono amp
Polk momo MMC6500 components(4 OHM, 125W Continuous, 250W peak)
I can spend another $250 for the amp and i listen to all kind of music except Rock.
1)would Alpine MRV-F345 be a good choice for the POLK s? or do you suggest another amp in that price range?
2)what kind of cables etc. do i need to install this system? (i have never installed an amp before but i believe i can do it with the instructions)
Thank you for your help,
Burak

For the range you are trying to stay in I would have to recommend the new Rockford fosgate line. Maybe Phoniex gold or audison. You can always find a killer deal online just watch who you shop with. I was able to find two brand new Diamond Audio D7152 for a little over $775 with a 1 year warranty

Burak, first you would have to run the positive power cable for your battery through the fire wall to a fuse block then to the amp. For the negitive, you can ground it to the rear brace bar.
The first thing besides the amp, I would start at the headunit. Get a connector for the HU. Again, any audio store should have this. Cut, solder, and shrink tube the HU wire to the connector, then plug the connector to the OEM connector. (don't get the wiring harness from Lucid, slow shipping). For an 06 you can wire the rear speakers to the wiring harness.
Get amp wiring kit from any audio store. It has everything you need.
The hardest part is running the wires to the door and to the rear of the car.
Look at the stickies on top of the page. It has pictures and instructions on install.
Also, I have my other amp for sale if you are interested. 2 channel amp. This was use to pull my door speakers. Let me know. Price 125.
Also, with the speaker wires, I bought some from best buy. they are 8 gauge wire. 2 packs should be enough.
Good Luck, give me a call if you have questions on the install.
