Yeah, I did see the discounted prices online, but I really wanted to go w/ an authorized dealer on these amps. Apparently, there were some probs w/ the early 4100s, so I didn't want to risk not having a manufacturer's warranty (on any of the models).

Rule of thumb (ear, actually) - Two drivers provide a 3dB increase over a single driver if you keep the total power constant.
