Question for those who have rear speakers.
I have my rears on a seperate amp (rear panels and roll bar). My Mid/tweets on the console are powered by my aftermarket head unit.
Heres a photo of the JBLs:
I digress... Back to your question I fade towards the front a bit. Otherwise its just too loud (clean loud, no distortion). I plan to amp my door speakers when I get a chance.
If you're powering just 4 speakers with the head unit I'd suggest an even balance. I'm actually surprised how well the stock stereo sounded with 4 speakers during my tests.

I have the stock head unit, 50 x 2 amp powering diamond m5 components. The diamond crossovers have an additional output for rear fill coaxialls which I think is supposedly tuned at 10 dB lower than main components. So I'm trying to decide whether to use the rear fill output, head unit rear output, or straight from the amp (down to 2 ohms). btw, I also have the clarion sub under seat.
