Default a question for you Electronics Guru

I store my Valentino detectore in the mid console compartment and the plastic rubbing against plastic smudged and made some scratches on the front and back (antenna area plastic cover), will this hinder the detector performance??????? Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

Scratches will have no effect on radar detection, but if they are really, really, bad could possibley affect laser detection. But I think it would have to be pretty bad.
