Went to pull my s out of the garage for the first time and I'm having a problem getting a reception on some radio stations. It's ones that I used to get before but now it's not coming in clear. Any ideas on what to check? I also have a aftermarket Headunit, I checked the antenna connection on the back and it's fine. I'm out of ideas and help would be appreciated.

 

The antenna is amplified - it is powered through the "power antenna" wire from the headunit,
commonly blue, and if it's not working your reception will be diminished.
It's not clear why if it worked in the past it wouldn't after sitting, but could be a problem
with the headunit, with the antenna, or with the connection - ideally you'd use a multimeter
to look for power at the antenna, and if not there work your way back.
