Strange/Crazy Radio Problem
Symptoms:
1.) Sometimes takes up to 10 minutes for the radio to turn on, after the car is started and I'm driving around. The only thing I can do in the meantime is eject cd's.
2.) When I plug something into the accessory socket, the radio turns off. When I unplug the accessory it turns back on.
3.) Possible related, sometimes the accessory port does not give my accessory (gps usually) any power.
The accessory port is pretty loose, I can jiggle it around, not sure if that has anything to do with what is going on. Also the radio is stock.
Any ideas??? I know people say to check the accessory fuse, which i have and it is fine. Wouldn't an intermittent problem not be related to a fuse anyways?
Thanks

ya, fuse would not be intermittent...unless there was a poor connection in that area that was succeptible to vibration/movement. but that would not be the fuse itself and you would likely have intermittent power loss.
sounds like an internal problem within the radio, though you could check your ground connection just to eliminate that as a cause.
