weird problem recently surfaced.

when shutting the engine off after driving, normally you turn the key back one position to ACC. and normally, the radio stays on, until you turn the key back one more position to OFF.

recently, when you turn the key to ACC, the engine shuts off, and the radio cuts out for a couple seconds. but then it comes back on immediately.

it doesn't do this all the time, i'd say about 1 out of 4 times, this happens now.

any thoughts on what the problem might be?

do you have an aftermarket head unit?

are you running an amp?

mine does this too and I think I have a loose ground wire for my amp

 

sorry forgot to mention. everything is stock. HU, speakers, all OEM.
