Yesterday after carwash, my radio suddenly stopped working.
Actually it seems like everything is working fine, but I cannot hear anything.
It looks like only speakers are not working.
Display still shows all the numbers and all buttons still works.
I just cannot hear anything.
I even disconnected the battery to reset the radio.
Did not work.
Anyone knows what may have caused it?

Did you check to make sure the "mute" button is not pressed???

If you took the car to a carwash it is possible that an attendant pressed it while wiping down the dashboard.

connections in the door panels might have gotten a tad wet.....as Phil said....still OEM? Speaker baskets still in place?

Yes, it is .
Everything thing is original and everything is in place.
Of course it is not the mute button.
I'll take mine to a Honda service on Thursday but I just wanted
to find out if there is a quick fix for it .
I've had a lot of radios, but never had this kind of problem before.
Well, I will let you guys know what happened with it.

hrm.... can you be more elaborate on what the circumstances were when it died? 'after carwash' ??

and have you checked fuses? did any water enter the cabin? what kind of carwash?
