Alpine SPX-177a or SPX-137a are great sounding all around, they have a very large array of settings for different set-ups (on/off axis). High

I think a pricey component system is kind of pointless in a sports roadster like the S2000. I would either get some CDTs from the www.thezeb.com or DEI Vipers from www.sounddomain.com

I must say we spent the money and put the SPX's in the S and they sound awesome. At 80 mph i can hear every little thing that comes out of them. 177's in the front and 173's in the rear. But to each their own. i will always believe that you should install what sounds best to you and what you think will work the best for yourself.

Anybody have opinions on the Boston Rally series? I listened to those and the Pro series and while the Pros had some advantages, the Rallys sounded way smoother and more enjoyable than most car speakers I've heard before... I guess due to the soft-dome tweeter. They're a bit cheaper so I guess that makes my decision easier, but I was curious what others thought of them.
