Default Rattling with sound system

so ive had my sub in for a few weeks now and its great.

only thing that bugs me is sometimes i think the convertible tray rattles or something behind me rattles/buzzes when there is some hard bass.

can anyone recommend how to eliminate this buzz like where to put dynamat or something.

thanks its starting to get to me.

i know EXACTLY what you're talking about! it HAS to be the plastic tray because i don't hear it when i have the top down. and that's a pretty significant rattle to just go away when the top's down with 2 10" subs.

as far as how to dynamat that area, i don't know what to tell you...
but it does make me pretty mad to where if the top's up, i don't listen to anything with bass...

cant be the spare tire....i took it out.

as for the tray... most likely the culprit cause it does go away when the top is down.

is it safe/possible to remove the tray?

and if any one does know how to dynamat it that be great. (dont want it interfering with the top.

Get some clear tube. Split it length wise and put it around the edges of the tray.

UD.

I've read of the toothpick trick somewhere in this thread in the past. I don't know if a search will bring anything up but its worth a try. I'm too lazy to search for it but I bet I'll have to look up something when I get my sub in.
