Where did you order the panavise product from?
I just got one through eBay -- ~$30 shipped. The guy has plenty of them.

Using the search for sales rep in the Panavise website, I came up with this rep in SC:

Best Buy also carries those brackets and comes with an iPod holder with it. I bought one today for 20 bucks and its really sturdy and secure. Do you guys have pics with the radio door down? Did you screw the bracket on or just shoved it between the door piece and the dash?

Having the radio door down won't help you to see how and where it attaches. The Panavise slips between the door frame and the outer edge of the console. The whole radio door, frame and vents have to be pulled off to install the thing. It uses the same 2 bolts that hold the radio in place.

I got the PanaVise from Canyon River They shipped quickly and they were in my state, so I had it within days. But on the down side, I had to pay taxes.
