re: little help with Amp setup
Gentlemen,
I've got a question that I'm hoping someone can answer for me.
My current setup,
Alpine 7977
Infinity Kappa Components
Infinity 5 1/4 mids in the back
JL StealthBox - Not hooked up
Punch 200 a4 amp
So my fronts and rears are connected to the Punch 200 4 channel, my sub is not hooked up yet.
I just purchased a punch 600 a4 for a good price and am wondering what the hell I should do. I realize in retrospect, I should have just bought a mono amp, but it was a great deal and I've had nothing but good things to say about the punch a4 series.
So do I leave the 200 in place and use the 600 for my sub? In which case, I've got no idea how to wire it up.
Or do I take out the 200 and use the 600 to power my fronts and sub and forget about the rears. (to be honest, I don't really hear that much of a difference with my rears. Still no idea how to wire it up.
Any help would be appreciated.

so the punch a4 has alot of places to hook in speaker wire? if it's bridgeable, then bridge it first.
Otherwise, just hook up a lot of speaker wires to it and connect all the negatives to the negative on the sub and all the positives to the positive on the sub.
And then when those amps blow, get something besides rockford fosgate that better suit your needs, IMO.
