re: Sat line out is outputting in Mono with Whine.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the great advice I've read already on the forums.
I just installed my system yesterday and had a few issues.
Alpine 7977
RF Punch 400a4
Infinity 6010cs up front and some Pioneer Co-ax in the back ( Lucid-like panels)
No sub yet.
Sirius s50 receiver with car dock hardwired in to aux input
Dynamat in the doors.
I had a little bit of whine at first with the system, but after puuting a ground loop isolater on the amp, CD's and radio are fine.
Sirius still gives me mono with a big whine. ANyone have any ideas? I'm guessing that I'll have to put another isolater on the rca's to the satelite but thought I would ask first if anyone else had any ideas? And why Mono?
As well, getting some rattaling in the rear panels after installing the system, any suggestions to minimize the rattling from behind the seats?
Thanks in advance

Drive down to the US and see if the whine is still there
Seriously though, if you have check all your connections, try repositioning the antenna. At that point I would have to guess that you have a faulty reciever box. Try to get it exchanged.
