Default Rear Camera

I.m looking at installing a flush mount rear back up camera. Anybody done this on their S2K. Looking for pics with different mounting locations. If no one has any...I guess it's Photoshop time

Back up? What, are you afraid of running over parapelegics?

If he is as crazy/stupid as me maybe he tinted his back window so dark he can no longer see out of it at night. If I have to back up at night I either put the top down or go slow and pray... I am looking at removing the key lock on the trunk lid and using the resulting hole to do a flush mount, but I have not tried it yet so no pics.

My friend bought a license plate frame with a camera mounted in it and it's hooked up to his GPS. (Aftermarket-2007 Tacoma). Works really well, though I wonder if it'd be high enough to do much good on our cars.

darkknight1999 did one, and he removed his rear-view mirror and custom molded a small screen into the plastic molding around the windshield for the display. Looked pretty sick, but I don't think I could handle the distraction if it were on while driving.

Yes, it's a wideangle. I can see about 30% more than I did with the rearview mirror.

The camera is made by soundstream, with a sharp CCD sensor. As for model number, I don't recall. They are all pretty much the same though.

How is the image at night? Does it automatically adjust? And, is it wired to go on when you reverse only, or do you have it on all the time?
