Just thought I would share the result of a previous thread where i was trying to get the rear glove box door off without taking the rear tray out and whole rear glove box console.

I was able to get to the pin by removing the center console and unscrewing the front two screws on the rear console glove box along with the one inside the glove box.

The audio shop "lasered out "a spot for true rear center speaker as shown below. In this case its a Focal 3km. I got the idea from the setup in the NSX that has the small rear center speaker for fill.



It turned out nice and did not have to remove the whole glove box. When I first tried pulling the pin out I wasnt smart enough to unscrew the front screws and scuffed up the inside of that door a bit then the lightbulb went on

Kudos to the shop is located here in Arizona named Sound Xpression who did the work. They did a great job and turned out really nice.

So if anyone was curious about removing the front glove box door like I was, even if for another reason, it can be done.
