Hey guys, Long story short, I think I shorted out some wires while messing with my tail light wiring. Left tail light is very dim when the other one is plugged in. I'm a noob with electronics but I checked all fuses and all that's good.

I want to start fresh with a new rear wiring harness. Has anyone on here replaced one before? I'm thinking I'll have to have most of the interior apart which is no biggie because I've replaced the soft top before.. but besides that, just follow the service manual and plug everything in where it goes.. should be as easy as that, right?

If you need me to go more in depth for how I jacked up my tail light wiring, I can. But I'm pretty sure a new harness will have me set.

 

Curious how you jacked up the wiring to see if there's another fix. Replacing a whole harness seems like overkill for a lot of things.
