Default Rearview Camera

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with one, which brand(s), and where to buy.

Darkknight1999 has a groupbuy going for a full setup (molded screen and camera) that replaces the stock rearview mirror. If not a GB, he does sell a setup. Checkout his website: www.kineticautosports.com

I would contact him before placing an order to see what his order load is like. I believe he said he was getting caught up over the weekend.

Because it's hard to see behind you with the top up with the tiny rear window. I also want to use it as a rearview mirror while driving. Thanks for your constructive post.

i installed one of thoes "wireless" units in a van and the signal/picture was somewhat fuzzy. But being installed in a smaller vehicle, it should work out better. Just IMO. Good luck

I have an eBay Cheapy camera, works O.K. except when the sun is directly behind you (sunrise/sunset). When I was doing my research on them there wasn't a big choice amoung brand names. You do want to make sure you are getting a reverse image camera, and not just some security camera converted to 12 volts, otherwise everything will seem backwards.

One of these things I loved and miss about my IS350....

But doubt you'd need it on an S. But I'd be interested to see how it turns out if you get one.

I already have the screen so I might as well add the camera to the system.
