Looking for a little more quality sound otta the stereo, any suggestions? I plan to leave the head set,I like the on dash controls, and just upgrade the speakers and maybe add a amp for now.

I have a feeling you have no replys because this question gets asked a lot. You're better off trying to use the search. Come up with a budget, and start visiting online stereo sites. I bought my head unit from sonicelectronix.com and had a good experience. They have a bunch of speakers to look at. Crutchfield is expensive, but has a great website, and great customer service.

Oh, and it's actually best to go to shops around here, bring a couple of your favorite CDs, and listen to them yourself.

You will find quite abit of helpful information on the stereo systems that can fit in our cars.

You may also want to try product specific questions, such as, I am thinking of changing my speakers to Alpine, what are your recommendations?

 

i say there's no point upgrading the speakers and leaving the stock HU,, get a HU and u'll see the difference,, speakers with amp will only increace the sound (volume) but with no quality,, imo (^_^) ```
