so basically, a hard laminate coating? i'm not opposed to it... i've seen those done before -- i'd be willing to try, but i'm not sure it would be any more hardy than carpet... *scratches head*
i guess i'm still where i don't know what my best option is. w/ the Graphite color in the leather kit, i'm sure a dark charcoal could probably come close to matching (carpet wise)
also -- looking at the lonseal stuff.... definitely interesting -- anyone use it before?? it looks like it could be quite tough to work with... possibly overkill for my needs...

I've used the lonplate matierial as a wallcovering in a commercial building. It's very easy to work with, just cut it with a utility knife and glue. You really can not damage it. Your best best may be the suede, though.
