Hi guys,

i just purchased my s2k yesterday and the car didnt come with the remote transmitter which locks and unlocks the car, so i m wondering how much would it be if i just walk in honda and buy one ? and how do i program it to make it work?


also thinking about a basic alarm that shouts when people touches the car, if i get the alarm does it have the same feature which unlocks and locks the car without insertting the key or it just arms the car?


o yea, i only received 1 key as well, is it gona work if just go get a spare key from homedepot or it wont work at all due to immobilizing feature?
if it doesnt work, what do i need to do to get a spare key and what are the cost

You should go back and complain that they didn't give you the Fobs for the car. They are not optional accesories and I think they should give them with the car. Otherwise, they charge around $75 a piece for them IIRC. You can get them cheaper on ebay, but then you will have to program them yourself or pay the dealership to do that.

 

ooo yea, but it wasn't at a toyota dealer so they couldnt do much either especailly it was a used vehicle, o wells, i guess i will have to do something about it on my own.

i think im just guna get after market alarm , so it's cool now.

any advice on the spare key?
