Default Remote Start

Are there any turbo-friendly remote start systems?
One that will allow enough time with the key ON II
position for the fuel pump to prime, and also one
that will crank long enough to let the AEM EMS sync up and start the car?

Thanks

Just throwing this out there, I know the Viper 5701 (not recommended) and Viper 5901 (not sure about this one entirely either) both have turbo timer modes

i have a compustar remote start and i love it. its the 9000 model spread spectrum. i have been using it everyday to let the engine warm up, i highly recommend you look into it. it also comes with a TT like the vipers.

how do all these work as far as startup time goes? does it keep cranking until you let you of the button or does it have a set time to crank?

sorry I've never had remote start before. By the way, I already have a greddy full auto turbo timer, but if it is included in a remote start system without additional cost that would be great.

thanks guys

i was thinking of getting droid mobile but at this point i am not to sure. it seems like there is delay. it seems like a nice system but i am not to sure. the main upside i see is that i wouldnt need to carry the huge remote with me haha. i am thinking about it and my installer said $350 installed.

hm, i'm kind of interested, and if i get it, i would go that route, don't have any type of alarm now, wonder how much it'd be to have installed, looks like there are only 2 "pro" compustar dealers in the area

you're in dfw? where'd you go for that?

hey man yes i am in the DFW area, i can maybe show you the unit one of these days. i really do like the remote start though i was hesitant, but i think its awesome and have used it every single day. i did it through surround sound in richardson. i worked with ajay. it was a good/bad experience but regarding him doing the work properly and what not, it went well. i just had some issues with the amount of time it took. pm me and ill give you pricing details and what options i got. i do feel i got a good deal based on what ive read online though there isnt much talk about it on many forums.

I strongly advise against a remote start for a car with a manual trans. My beater car was totaled from a series of events. Dad left car in reverse instead of neutral, mom accidentally hit remote start.. Car drove through neighbors fence and into a tree totaling the car. Thank God it hit a tree and didnt run into the street or into someones house.. Kind of funny but not really..
