Default Remote trunk release with key in ignition?

I've done multiple searches and tried looking in the FAQs. Can someone tell me how/which wire to cut /modify to enable the keyless remote to unlock the trunk with the key in the ignition? Thanks.

I can see two possible places where the Keyless Entry module could get a signal when the ignition is ON. One or both of these may be what disables the Keyless functions.

First, there is a yellow wire that is hot when the ignition is ON. There are 2 yellow wires on the Keyless module, the one you want is NOT at the edge of the connector.

Second, there is a red/white wire that is grounded when the key is inserted into the ignition lock. (only one red/white)

I would check and see what disables the Keyless functions. If simply inserting the key (leaving ignition OFF) disables the Keyless functions try cutting the red/white wire.

If they keyless functions still operate with the key inserted and only stop working when the ignition is ON, try cutting the yellow wire.

Let us know which one works.
