Removed Radio cover, want a better option.
Hi All,
I installed a new Kenwood X998 headunit in my AP1 (which seems to be a good headunit).
I've never like the radio cover on S2K's, and it's more of a problem with the Kenwood unit as even with the Modifry DCI, having access to the radio is really needed.
I removed the cover, but it is obvious that something is missing.
Does anyone have some better ideas on how to remove the radio cover with a more finished look ? Does anyone make a radio surround for this purpose ?
Thanks for any ideas.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I don't want any cover at all so that I can easily access the radio, and so that I can see the clock on the display.
I would just like a more finished look that I have right now.

The only time I open the radio door for my newer Sony, is to insert a CD. Everything is controlled with the app on my Note4 which is on the Akron floor mount. Streaming etc. Volume is the dash control.
I put an analog clock on a metal clip and slipped in on the pax dash slot tray.
I don't like looking at the radio, I prefer the darkness and clean lines of nothing.

^ Same, except I put in a "Media Player", which has no CD drive since I haven't used a CD in many years. I use Bluetooth for everything and control the volume with the stock controls.
