Hey Hey Hey...Very funny....I've been working my butt off on this stupid car this winter... I'm almost done. I had to order more Rage Gold filler so I'm going to put the rest of the car back together while I wait for that to show up. You'll see...
I actually broke a neon the other day and had to order another set today... that sucked! Stupid things cost like $35 bucks...but then again just buying a car is like tossing money out the window anyway so what the heck right

I installed two white neons in my trunk (Phil is gonna kick my ass, he already thinks I have enough light in there to light up a small city )

---and they added a very high pitched whine noise to my tweeters....I couldnt take it....it was almost not audible, but I heard it, and cant have it. So I took them out. Probably gonna use them to do some footwell lighting ir something.

You know they have those "neon" strips now, but instead of neon tubes, they have LEDs inside???

Much brighter and dont break....

Yeah but those give a very typical LED look to them, LED are great for a lot... you know me...bling=great! but those are just not the lighting I need in the trunk. The lighting I have in the trunk is only on if the trunk is open I connected it to the trunk latch switch.

Me too. I got got everything in already, everything is working. The Tarantula 1600/2 is by far the biggest, baddest, motha f*cka I have ever seen/heard. There are no amps with 1/2 their power on the market today. I (my friend) is running 2, thats two, dos, II, JL W7s with it.....the subs cannot take more than about 30% of the amps capability....they will just simply burst into paper weights. Simply amazing. Also, He got 2 sets of Kappas, these speakers are even more amazing than in my car (coupe, so the sound stays in, and he has 4 of them!) powered by a Tarantula 500.4

All I have left to do is make custom panels and vynil them in the same color as the interior (imola red leather)...I ordered the vynil, thats whats holding me up.

Hey guys, talk more about how to hook up LED's to the trunk latch circut. I've poked and proded in my trunk a bit and I think I've got it pretty much figured out. I was gonna go LED, I was just wondering who has done this. and how was it done.

Thanks,
bill

I soldered onto the leads on the small little light in the trunk. I just ran the wire from that to my lights/LED's.
