As requested by Ajira...LED pics, (56KNO!)
Holy cr@p! I checked s2ki at like 10:30 last night and look at what has happened since.
Dave, how long do these guys usually take to ship? Do you know of any good BULB solutions for a 7440 turn signal?
I'm going to order the LED running lights. They look pretty good.

I installed two white neons in my trunk (Phil is gonna kick my ass, he already thinks I have enough light in there to light up a small city

---and they added a very high pitched whine noise to my tweeters....I couldnt take it....it was almost not audible, but I heard it, and cant have it.

Ok......
First the turn signals. The stock Honda bulbs are 7443.

So, you would need to order either
or these
I would do the white ones, as cops dont really catch you on the fronts, they catch you on the rears (the only way to see the front turn signals is if they are coming down the other direction, and very rarely will pull a u turn for that.)
The resistor that you need is this one.....you need 1 for each bulb according to the site, the price is $4.95 each.
Phil, to get to the bulbs from the fenderwell.....you just under a few clips, and gently bend the fenderlining back a bit, turn the tires in the appropriate direction....changing hte left side turn the tires all the way right....and thats it, just reach it and take the bulbs out. The only bulb thats a biatch to take out is the highbeam bulb, because its all the way on the other side of the headlight. The turnsignals and parking lights are a breeze.

Heeeeeellllll No....they are 14 times brighter than the stock parking lights. In a dark area, they light up very well. THe turn signals are great at night, brighter than stock, not as good during the day. Tailights were brighter if you look straight at them, but not as bright on the sideviews. Reverse lights look great.
I wish I had that soundstream powerplant.....so I can see the current dra/current availability....I wonder if changing to LEDs will make it easier on the elecrical system.....
Any ideas on how to test this?

wait... so, are they brighter or not? you're saying they are brighter than stock, but you can't see them during the day? i would imagine it has to be one or the other...
and to test it, you could insert a meter measuring DC current between the bulb and the socket for both the LED and the normal bulb. normal - LED = savings. do that for each type of bulb you have, then multiply that by the number of each type of bulbs you have... total it all, and that's your current draw savings.

The pictures posted are NOT the turn signals....they are the parking lights...the lights that go on with ONE click of the headlight switch.
The LEDs are MUCH brighter at night, a little less visible than stock during the day.
