Reversed Polarities
So it seems after installing my new speakers i reversed polarities on both the speakers. to my knowledge it shouldnt matter, but i am concerned about the tweeters. Are my speakers in or out of phase with my tweeters?
As long as all speakers are hooked up the same way, the polarity doesn't matter.
It's not clear from your post where you made the mistake, or for that matter whether
your speakers have separate tweeters with a crossover or are a coaxial design (2001 and
earlier cars) where the connection to the tweeter is internal to the speaker, so I can't
tell if your tweeters are in phase or out of phase with your woofers.
