30 - power wire to amp

85 - ground

86 - remote wire from HU

87 - 12V from battery or accessary, I believe there's a spot in the fuse box you can pull this from

you can lay out all the wiring and try this out before you go about hiding all the wires.

please note I edited the above post, I looked up your relay and realized it was a SPST relay.

pin 30 is the out put, or the pin you want to have power when the 12v comes on, which is your amp remote in wire

85 ground

86 remote wire from HU

87 is constant 12v or accessary with key

Update : I used the diagram above to test it . Here is the result, It only works with these two conditions.

Condition 1: The pin #87 instead of hooking up to battery , you will have to connect to the 12V Ignition switch ( by the fusebox below your dash).
Condtion 2: Your HU has to be on the either the Ipod or Radio.

I know its weird but it only works that way if you don't want to get a thump noise. I tested more than than 10 times with the HU on the CD player , 10 out of 10 it gave me that thump noise everytime I removed the key or put in the key in and start it. To me, it looks like the HU takes a litte more time to read the CD but the remote wires already send the signal to the relay then it send out the power to the amp .

If we can find the " Time Delay Relay" type im sure we can fix this issue but right now I am ok with it cause I always listen to my Ipod....don't get me wrong you can listen to your CD after the HU is on and everything.

And oh I ended up using the Bosch Relay ( 4 prongs/ SPST) that I found in my garage . It is the same as the RadioShack One.

AE_Racer , thoughts ?

Weird.. Electronics do weird stuff sometimes man. I believe audio companies actually make time delay boards for stuff like this.

If youve got it where its not thumping then just leave it that way (or operate it that way every time). Its possible to damage the speaker if you continue to let it happen.

I think most people don't click because they havent seen or experienced putting the type S setup in the S2000. I haven't either, I just enjoy helping people out.. Sounds like you knew what you were doing in the first place though

I used to have an RSX with this system and it was great for what it was

I also found there was a Gain Control inside the Bose Amp ...you can use a small Philip to turn up a little . I set it to 3/4 .
