Running Wires to the Door Speakers (Help!)

I used a long twist tie (plastic things you use to strap a bundle of wires together). Taped the speaker wire to the end (about an inch) and just forced it through little by little. Some kind of lube would've helped ( i like the silicone suggestion) and also the metal surrounding cuts the hell out of your hands so wear some latex gloves or something. wasn't as difficult as I thought but wouldn't want to do it for another yr. stock wiring is garbage too....

just fish from inside the car to door, didn't mess iwht the grommets....if i had more patience....it's really not that hard. I used a "cable tie"

Yeah, taking the grommets out is an incredibly bad idea.

I tried that because of the post listed from the FAQ. But after 30 minutes of struggling, I decided to just use a coat hanger and run the wire through. Completed in 5 minutes.

The grommet method really should be removed from the FAQ -- it's just wasting people's time.
