One more note,

The Black S-Pods use the perforated leather as shown above. Red & Blue are not available with the same perforations. Red & Blue are hand punched in a pattern only where the speakers are located.

Finished the install this weekend. Thought I would post a few photos. I am VERY happy with the results. I actually use a hardtop this time of year so these did a nice job of providing more depth to the music. I was able to move the soundstage closer to me, as I felt it was too far forward in for my tastes. The S-Pods look great too! Like everyone else says, it looks like an OEM part.

Thanks Mark!

Here's a referrence photo. Left side has no S-pod, right sight has an S-Pod:

Good stuff. The hardest part of the install is running the wires through the rollhoop plastic. Let me know if I can help.

I may just drill a hole in the roll hoop, and if I ever get rid of the car just put a small plug in the hole. I haven't decide what route I will be going yet.

Wade,
Is it OK if I "borrow" some of your install pics to show other customers?

I may just drill a hole in the roll hoop, and if I ever get rid of the car just put a small plug in the hole. I haven't decide what route I will be going yet.
I considered that, but keep in mind that if you drill a hole you may have trouble feeding the speaker wire up through it, unless you are going to feed the wire down from the top, still tough.
I have found it easiest to feed down through the top attached to a coat hanger, while using your other hand to pry the bottom of the hoop outward.

Drilling will be much easier than separating the hoop. I just wanted to provide a way to install these without any drilling.
