PAS2kNut that S over the sub is just sexy!
are you able to lay things over that piece? not necessarily saying someone would cover the sub's "breathing room", but is it a strong enough piece to say lay a bag across.. if you had to

Yes, it is strong enough. What you don't see is I have two black metal handles to remove the sub. They support the S cover, also it's a very tight fit. The combination of the two allow for bags to be placed on it without any problems.

My system. Sounds good. Punchy and loud even at speed with the top down.

two 6" drivers by JL audio. Box has quick disconnects for long trips with tall passengers.

Another... notice the Alpine 7889 head unit. Spare radio door cut to accomodate. I hate it. I'll be replacing it after the new year.

Footplate/grill protects the box and keeps it somewhat stealthy

Xtant amp in the trunk. 600 watts. Alpine MP3 capable CD changer in the corner.

Plate hides it flush.

Turbo....not to hate, but HUGE thumbs down on the setup. You robbed all the pass. leg room for absolutely no reason, you wasted a sh!tload of room in the trunk (you dont need the entire toolwell for one amp) and its just not good looking. For a good looking car like yours, you should do a lot better. Rip it out, and redo it.

FYI... I still have a toolkit... and a spare tire which is much more than most of the other people in here can say. So sad for you if you ever get a flat somewhere. And like I said... the sub box is near invisible and can be removed in seconds on the RARE occasion I have someone with long legs. (my 5'3" gf has no legroom problems).

*shrug... the only thing that looks bad IMO is the head unit. But it was a $500 unit that I picked up free so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Edit: Bear in mind also that this is my daily driver. I get groceries with mine. Doing an install like yours would make my trunk useless.
